In 1904, a small saloon opened its doors on the corner of Ballard & 20th Ave. After over a hundred years of providing shelter to various community shops and hangouts, those very walls once again carry on the Ballard pub tradition here at Scotsman-owned Macleod's Scottish Pub.

Four years after MacLeod’s Scottish Pub opened we expanded next door and added a Chippy shop in 2015. The counter-service restaurant serves certified sustainable, long-line caught wild Pacific cod as well as halibut and salmon. Don’t miss the Scotch egg, deep fried mars bar, and classic chowder with leeks, bacon, and little neck clams. It's probably award winning, we just haven't entered a contest yet.

We feature single malt whiskies and scotch cocktails as well as a robust selection of whiskeys from this side of the pond. Our cocktail list also offers options for those that prefer lighter spirits, and we’re always happy to pour you a pint of Tennents lager or Belhaven ale.

MacLeod’s opened in 2011 when Edinburgh native Alan MacLeod partnered with restauranteurs Deming Maclise and James Weimann to fulfill his dream of opening a Scottish pub in Seattle. Alan now runs the pub & chip shop with his wife Naomi and their dedicated and friendly staff.
